Scope of the Position:

The Information Systems Analyst role will develop and maintain data integration flows between new and existing software systems at Flex-N-Gate. Systems range from legacy green screen ERP, to third party “off the shelf” software, as well as homegrown applications written in PHP/MySQL. The candidate will be required to create data integrations utilizing SQL/ESQL, RESTful and SOAP web services to pass data between applications in batch and in real time. This will be done using a third party ETL and ESB tools.

Position will need to travel to support and coordinate IS (Information Systems) projects as needed at various locations of Ventra / Flex-N-Gate in the US / Canada. The position will communicate with all manufacturing departments and should be capable of serving their various information systems-related needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain integration programs between many line of business systems: ERP, Procurement (Ivalua), PLM, MDM, CRM, SharePoint apps, Maximo, etc.
• Administrator third party integration platform, including monitoring integrations for performance and reliability
• Create and maintain a data warehouse for reference / master data
• Maintaining DR environment for ESB
• Maintain documentation to data integration flows and objects
• Support person for other corporate systems

Qualifications:

• Interpret business requirements and be able to translate into integration designs & implementations
• Cognitive, Abstract thinking, elicitation and analysis skills
• Experience developing integration objects using ETL and/or ESB tools like: IBM Integration Bus (IIB), Data Stage, Quality Stage, Webmethods, Mulesoft, Informatica, Tibco, Websphere MQ, Dell Boomi, Snaplogic, Talend, Magic XPI, Jitterbit, iWay, Clover ETL, Adeptia, SSIS, Oracle Data Integrator (3 years)
• Understanding of the SQL and/or ESQL language structure (5 years)
• Understanding of SOAP and RESTful web services and other similar APIs (JS, JMS) (3 years)
• Understanding of XML and JSON data structures (3 years)
• 4 Year Degree or Associates Degree in Business Systems or related application development degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication skills, able to track and report project status with little notice
• Technical writing like Process Flow, Business Process, and Application Support documentation
• Experience with IBM Integration Bus
• Integrating SAAS based endpoints
• ERP experience like: Epicor CMS (Solarsoft iVP), Mapics, IQMS, Plex Systems, QAD, SAP, BPCS
• Experience in the Supplier Automotive Manufacturing Industry
• Understanding of agile or iterative development lifecycles
• Project Management Skills
• Knowledge of Business Intelligent / Data Warehouse concepts
• Programming / coding skills
• Work with end users to identify and deliver required system service levels.
• Support implementation of business applications as required.
• Required to travel to various facilities as directed.
• Daily Operations would also include other duties assigned by the Director Information Systems or Information Systems Manager.
• Responsibilities will require being “on call”, via cell phone or home phone, and may require evening and weekend work in response to the needs of the systems being supported.
